The Pointe Church is a fifteen-year-young congregation reaching over 1100 people each week (pre-pandemic). Outreach Magazine named us one of the top 100 fastest growing churches in the nation. When the pandemic hit, we pivoted and began broadcasting online and now reach over 100,000 devices per week via social media. We are returning to our campus for worship on Feb 21, 2021 and will be continuing our online broadcasts. We are active in our community, engaged in local and global missions, and connecting nearly 100% of our adult attendance in group experiences.
Our children's ministry is not bad. It's just not great. And we are looking for the right leader to create the environment and experience that will help children encounter Jesus Christ in a fresh and compelling way.
The successful candidate is a proven leader with experience in churches of 500 or more in total church attendance. A bachelor's degree is preferred. This leader will have leadership gifts, will be passionate about developing other leaders, will have strong volunteer recruiting skills, and is able to create systems that will allow the ministry to be both effective and efficient.
The Pointe Church values high-capacity leaders. Not only do we have an excellent staff culture, we also provide excellent compensation and great benefits. Starting on your first day of employment, benefits for this position include a 403b Retirement Plan that invests 4% of your salary into the plan whether you choose to participate in saving or not. If you participate, we match one-on-one up to an additional 5% for a maximum total from the church of 9%. On your 61st month with us, we'll increase the 4% to 5% and double whatever you invest (2 to 1 matching) up to a maximum church contribution of 15%.
Retirement benefits during the first 60 months are 4% of the salary (not including bonuses) plus a I-to-I match up to an additional 5% for a total of 9% per year or $5,850 per year starting on first day of employment. At the 61st month, benefits increase to 5% fixed plus a 2-to-1 match up to a total maximum contribution of 15% (5% plus 10% from match).
