Worship Pastor/Worship Director

The Worship Pastor/Worship Director, working in cooperation with the Senior Pastor will lead the congregation to worship in spirit and truth. Shadow Mountain has an amazing worship team presently made up of a keyboardist, a guitarist, a drummer, and two vocalists. We are looking for someone who will lead us with passion, Biblical and theological veracity, creativity, and will be sensitive to the congregation, the community, and where the spirit leads. Although we are interested in a blended service in reference to ‘style’, we are more concerned with the idea that the gospel is preeminent, and lives are changed as the result of all that we do here!

Shadow Mountain is a church situated in the Carson Valley looking at the Sierra Nevada’s. We are in a beautiful place that sits in a part of the country that is 95% unchurched. The mission-field is ripe and we are forever looking for laborers to go into the field! We desire to Turn Ordinary People Into Extraordinary Disciples. At present, we have two Sunday Morning Worship services, one children's Sunday School Hour during the second morning worship service. We have a Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Prayer meeting. We have AWANA, Trail Life, and are about to begin American Heritage Girls. This is a vibrant church that is growing!
