About Bethesda Christian Ministries

Bethesda Christian Ministries is a vibrant, non-denominational Christian community dedicated to loving God and loving people, regardless of background or culture. We believe that Jesus Christ is the center of our faith, and our mission is to share His love and teachings through the power of the Bible.

Our Vision:

To build a multi-cultural church where all people, no matter their race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic background, can come together to worship God in spirit and truth. Our goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where individuals can grow in their faith, experience transformation, and make an impact in their communities. We are a place where everyone can encounter Christ, find purpose, and live out God's calling for their lives.

Our Beliefs:

At Bethesda, we hold firmly to the Word of God, believing that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for all matters of faith and practice. We believe in:

  • The Trinity: One God, existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • The Deity of Christ: Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who died for our sins, was buried, and rose again for our salvation.
  • Salvation by Grace through Faith: Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received by faith in Jesus Christ alone.
  • The Power of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is active in our lives, empowering us to live Christ-like lives, equipping us for service, and enabling us to share the gospel with others.

Our Values:

  1. Christ-Centered Worship: We focus on worshiping God through vibrant, heartfelt praise, biblical preaching, teaching and fellowship. We believe that worship is an essential part of our faith journey and a way to experience God's presence.
  2. Biblical Teaching: We uphold the authority of Scripture in all aspects of our ministry. Every service, sermon, and group is rooted in the timeless truth of God's Word.
  3. Diversity and Inclusion: We celebrate the multi-cultural nature of our congregation. Every person, regardless of culture or background, is welcomed and valued as part of the body of Christ.
  4. Community and Family: We believe that the church is not just a building, but a family. We encourage relationships that are built on love, support, and accountability.
  5. Global Mission: We are passionate about spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ both locally and globally. We engage in mission work and service projects to impact the world around us with God's love.
  6. Discipleship and Growth: We provide opportunities for spiritual growth through Bible studies, groups, and ministry teams. Our goal is to help each person grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ and become a disciple who makes disciples.

What to Expect:

  • Dynamic Worship Services: Experience engaging worship with contemporary music, powerful preaching, teaching and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • A Diverse Family: Our congregation is made up of people from different nations, cultures, and walks of life, united by our faith in Christ.
  • Biblical Teaching: Every service centers on teaching from the Bible, offering practical applications for everyday life.
  • Community Engagement: Opportunities to connect, serve, and grow in faith through our small groups, volunteer teams, and mission initiatives.
