Crossroads Community Church in Stokesdale, NC, is seeking a youthful, energetic Lead Pastor to guide and grow our congregation with vision, authenticity, and a heart for outreach.

We are a small, autonomous church with loose Baptist affiliation and a deeply relational, mission-minded culture. Our worship is contemporary and Spirit-led and our teaching is Bible-based and practical. We affirm women in all areas of leadership and our heart is set on welcoming new families and reaching our growing community.

This part-time opportunity is ideal for a bi-vocational pastor or someone early in their ministry journey—someone who feels called to help revive and lead a church that’s eager to engage the community, deepen spiritual life, and build momentum for growth.

Who We’re Looking For:

A Christ-centered leader who:

• Delivers Spirit-led, Biblically grounded sermons that connect with real life

• Brings energy and direction to outreach and ministry growth

• Can inspire and mobilize volunteers without burnout

• Cares deeply about people and meets them where they are

• Is excited to invest in a church with potential and purpose

Primary Responsibilities:

• Preach and teach weekly, delivering clear, practical, and Spirit-led messages

• Provide pastoral care across all life stages

• Collaborate with ministry leaders to coordinate events and spiritual formation

• Lead and implement vision for church health, outreach, and revitalization

• Engage the local community and support mission partnerships

• Equip the congregation to grow in faith and number

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (M.Div. or seminary training preferred but not necessary)

• A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear pastoral calling

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Experience in youth, family, or small church ministry is a plus
