Living Hope is a Christ-centered, bible teaching church with a mission to engage our church, community, and world with the Living Hope of Jesus Christ. We are a suburban Philadelphia ministry located in Langhorne, PA, with a desire to authentically live out our faith in Christ by seeking to meet our community's physical and spiritual needs. We currently have an average Sunday morning attendance of 600. Living Hope operates Wee Care Early Learning Center, a Keystone Four-Star early learning center with an enrollment of approximately 170 children. Living Hope also operates a food pantry that serves the physical needs of approximately 200 families monthly. Living Hope employs approximately 50 PT/FT employees, including Wee Care staff.
Working Relationships: The maintenance manager reports directly to the Director of Operations.
Summary of Responsibilities:
· Inspect the building, grounds, and equipment.
· Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.
· Maintain organization-owned vehicles
· Oversee the annual code inspections.
· Overseas the cleaning contractors and perform cleaning tasks as necessary.
· Compliance with all safety regulations.
· Maintains maintenance records and logs.
· Helps form the annual maintenance budget.
· Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
· Facilitates the setup and tear down of rooms for events as requested.
· Meets with the director of operations weekly.
· Organizes and maintains all church tools and equipment.
· Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate…
· Will have a strong faith in Jesus Christ and be in agreement with the LH Statement of Faith.
Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job.
· Possess basic knowledge and hands-on experience in building maintenance and repair.
· Have good written and verbal skills.
· Possess basic computer skills with the ability to use email, Microsoft Office, and various web-based programs.
· Take initiative and follow through with assigned tasks.
· Possess proactive and problem-solving skills.
· Be a team player working alongside others to accomplish the mission, purpose and values of Living Hope.
Considerations: This position requires some on-call availability.
