Production Coordinator

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the smooth operations of weekend services by managing production programming and executing projects. This position also serves as a Service Producer for a Highpoint Church location. This will require strong leadership skills to lead volunteer teams, as well as trouble-shooting skills pertaining to the weekend services and other campus events (weddings, funerals, midweek ministry, etc.). This position reports to the Director of Production IT and functions within the Production department.

Roles Responsibilities (Time Spent %)

Production Team Leadership (20%)

• Produce technically excellent weekend services by effectively leading volunteer teams.

• Schedule, recruit, and train local volunteers to meet the needs of weekend services and campus events.

• Lead weekend production volunteers to effectively utilize their gifting in the technical arts to execute a compelling weekend experience.

• Manage stage resets and staging needs at campus by effectively leading volunteers.

• Oversee patching and setup for audio, video, and lighting in Worship Center(s).

• Manage livestream and recording of weekend services.

• Mix FOH audio and/or Video Direct as needed

Programming (20%)

• Oversee programming of ProPresenter for lyrics, videos, and announcements, and special service elements (excluding sermon notes).

• Coordinate with Worship staff to program details in Planning Centre for all locations

Projects (40%)

• Assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and caring for production equipment to ensure smooth operation of events and weekend services.

• Implement production equipment upgrades to improve current spaces, working directly with Production Director

• Collaborate with Creative department, as needed, to assist with content production projects - both audio and video projects.

Producing Video Content (20%)

• Assist with weekly sermon video export needs for the various web platforms.

• Assist with video shoots and video editing as needed.
