The Cross Fire Pastor will lead the church with a strong emphasis on the Holy Spirit's presence, focusing on preaching and pastoral care. They will be the spiritual leader of the congregation, all while actively engaging with the community to spread the gospel. Administration skills are also important in this role to keep a small vibrant church organized and on track.
Responsibilities:
Casting vision for the church and guiding its strategic direction
Overseeing Ministry leaders to help their ministries thrive within the church
Managing church budget and finances responsibly
Engaging with the local community to share the Gospel and build relationships
Effectively balancing church responsibilities with an additional part time job
In summary, the Lead Pastor position entails sermons to prepare, people to counsel, conflicts to navigate, meetings to lead, and administrative tasks to check off.
Qualifications:
Deep personal commitment to Jesus Christ, must be baptized in the Holy Spirit
Ability to build relationships with an evangelistic focus
Minister credentials with the Assembly of God, or the ability to pursue. (our district offers monthly classes to achieve this)

Salary:
This is currently a bi-vocational position where the Pastor may have another source of income. 20 hours per week, $2500/ month Salary
Cross Fire is a new church, that just celebrated its 2 year anniversary as a church plant of Bluff View Church. Cross Fire has an average attendance of 40, and is in Spencer, WI a small rural community in need of the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. The church members are compassionate and fellowship oriented, it is a true church family with many skilled and wonderful people. The church is ready for new growth and their Pastor will have a rewarding position.
