Position Summary: The Production Associate supports the mission of Hope Church by
assisting with all technical and production needs for worship services, events, and
ministry programming. This role helps create excellent and distraction-free
environments through audio, video, lighting, and stage support. The Production
Associate works closely with the Production Director, Worship Team, and volunteers to
ensure a seamless experience for both in-person and online attendees.
Reports to: Production Department Director
Status: Full-Time | Salaried | Technical Support Role
Weekly Hours and Schedule: 40+ hours per week average.
• Sunday: 6:30am until all duties are completed
• Office Hours are Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm
• Other hours as needed
Key Responsibilities:
• Service & Event Support
o Assist with setup, operation, and teardown of production equipment for
worship services, events, and special gatherings.
o Operate audio, video, lighting, and projection systems as needed.
o Ensure livestream and in-room experiences are aligned in quality and
consistency.
• Technical Operations
o Maintain all lighting, video, and sound equipment, and ensure it is in
proper working order.
o Install and program new equipment.
o Troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues quickly and effectively
during services and throughout the week.
o Assist with stage design, setup, and changes throughout ministry
seasons.
• Volunteer Engagement
o Assist in training and supporting volunteer production team members.
o Provide hands-on guidance to volunteers during rehearsals and services.
o Assist in scheduling campus serve teams to execute live production on
Sundays and for all Hope Church events.o Help foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, unity and spiritual growth
within the production team.
• Collaboration
o Work closely with the Worship & Creative Arts team to execute service
plans.
o Collaborate with other ministry departments to meet production needs for
church-wide events.
o Contribute creative input for improving production quality and systems.
• Other Duties as Assigned
Knowledge and Preferred Skill Requirements:
• Basic knowledge of DMX along with high end systems Hog/Hedge Hog.
• Knowledge of basic video routing using Blackmagic equipment.
• Knowledge of Blackmagic cameras.
• Basic understanding of Allen & Heath and Yamaha mixers.
• Basic knowledge of PCO.
• Proficiency with ProPresenter.
• Knowledge of Companion/Stream Decks.
• Proficiency with Resi (Online, Encoders and Decoders)
• Experience with live sound mixing (digital audio consoles). (Not required, but a
plus)
Work Environment:
• Office-based at Spartanburg Campus with monthly all staff and weekly
department meetings at the Spartanburg Campus.
• Travel to Simpsonville and Greenville Campuses required.
• As needed weekend and evening responsibilities.

• A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission

• Experience or strong interest in church production, including audio, video,
lighting, or stage design.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
as needed.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts) for lighting and rigging
adjustments.
• Ability to be on feet for extended periods during services and events.
Salary Range: $45,000+ (Depending on Experience)
