Vice President of National Operations
Crossroads Farm (CRF) is a cooperative, outsourced, rural youth ministry. In regions where many churches have 50 or fewer attendees, Crossroads Farm partners with the local churches to love the rural teen, providing outreach and ministry training opportunities while coming alongside them for more effective growth. Working at Crossroads Farm is more than working with one church or one neighborhood, it’s reaching entire counties. We are looking for highly motivated and skilled youth workers passionate about bringing the Gospel to students in rural America and ready to invest long term.
Role
The Vice President of Crossroads Farm will serve as the visionary leader and chief operations executive of this growing national ministry. This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance strategic expansion with hands-on ministry effectiveness, someone who can see "things unseen" and lead the organization into its next phase of growth. The Vice President will oversee all aspects of the ministry including branch development, leadership training, fundraising, staffing, and organizational partnerships for the Crossroads National operation.
Duties
Strategic Leadership & Vision
· Provide visionary leadership aligned with CRF's mission to impact rural middle and high school students with the Gospel
· Drive the expansion of the "CRF Line" through strategic planning and implementation
· Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for national growth and sustainability
· Foster a culture that embraces God's "more" by continually seeking to exceed expectations in ministry impact
Ministry Operations
· Oversee all branch locations and ensure consistency with core mission and values
· Develop and implement scalable ministry models for rural youth engagement
· Ensure excellence in weekly programming, care cells, and outreach opportunities
· Monitor and evaluate ministry effectiveness across all locations
Leadership Development
· Recruit, train, and develop national executives, branch directors and key ministry leaders
· Implement leadership development pathways consistent with biblical discipleship principles
· Build and maintain strong relationships with national organizations, universities and local church partners
· Mentor staff and volunteers in effective, relational student ministry approaches
Organizational Management
· Provide executive oversight of all operational aspects including finance, HR, and strategic administration
· Develop and manage annual budgets and ensure fiscal responsibility
· Build and maintain strong board relationships and governance practices
· Oversee data collection and analysis to drive ministry decisions
Partnerships & Expansion
· Cultivate relationships with churches, camps and colleges for ministry partnerships
· Identify and develop new branch locations in strategic rural areas
· Build networks of prayer and financial support for ministry expansion
· Represent CRF at conferences, churches, and ministry events nationally
Fundraising & Development
· Lead comprehensive fundraising efforts to support ministry operations and expansion
· Develop relationships with individual donors, foundations, and ministry partners
· Oversee creation of compelling vision communications that inspire investment in rural youth ministry
· Oversee grant writing and foundation relationship development

Required Skills
Ministry & Leadership Experience
· Minimum 5-7 years of advanced leadership experience in Christian ministry, non-profit organizations or corporate executive leadership
· Demonstrated experience in youth ministry, rural ministry or church leadership
· Proven track record of leading organizational growth and expansion
· Experience in multi-site or network ministry leadership preferred
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in multi-site, multi-state or national ministry organizations
· Background in rural communities or rural ministry
· Experience with board governance and non-profit management
Physical Requirements & Travel
· Ability to travel (up to 30% of time) to branch locations and relevant conferences across multiple states
· Willingness to engage in hands-on ministry activities including retreats and community events
Location: Reading, Michigan
Salary
All staff at Crossroads Farm raise support through ministry partners to serve as missionaries to rural America. Support goals are set based on experience, geographical multipliers, number of family members, and health benefits. Final salary packages will be determined by the HR department and presented to applicants.

· Health Insurance - An employee may raise additional support to cover health insurance premiums. The extent of individual or family health care is determined by each employee
· Retirement Account - An employee raises additional support for pre-taxed retirement contribution of up to 5% of their approved gross income
· Ministry Expense Account - An employee may raise additional support for job related expenses including but not limited to books, sporting events with students, meals with students, computer, gas/mileage reimbursements, training, conferences, communication with ministry partners, ministry travel expenses, etc.
· Dependents – Employees are allowed to raise an additional stipend pending family size
· Vacation – Each Crossroads Farm employee is allotted a set number of vacation, personal, ministry partner development, and sick days
