Principal Function:
Communicate Bonsack’s mission & vision through print, digital & multimedia channels. Maintain branding, style and communication standards on behalf of the organization.
Responsibilities
· Develop and customize graphics and video for events, initiatives and programs, including but not limited to print publications, programs, bulletins, interior and exterior signage and announcement slides
· Design and coordinate production of bimonthly church newsletter
· Work with outside vendors for printing and production as needed
· Edit, publish and share video content
· Manage website, mobile app & event registration webpages
· Design and schedule weekly email updates and Sunday morning emails
· Maintain social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, & livestream feeds
· Prepare and administer the communications, advertising and newsletter budget
· Help educate staff on communications and marketing best practices
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor or the Executive Pastor
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
· A loving and vital relationship with Jesus Christ
· Support of the vision and the mission of Bonsack Baptist Church
· College degree and willingness to enhance skills through continued education opportunities (i.e., conferences, online seminars, etc.)
· Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
· Ability to listen and communicate clearly, both orally and written
· Exceptional organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects at once
· Self-starter
· Website & Social Media Management
· Experience with photography, video production & editing preferred
· Ability to collaborate with staff and be part of a team to promote the broader vision of the church
· Requires passing criminal and sexual misconduct background checks
