Executive Pastor of Ministries

Grace Christian Fellowship is a healthy, growing congregation in Cortland, New York. They are eager to welcome their first Executive Pastor of Ministries to the team. This will be a relational leader who feels called to this region and brings natural leadership, strategic gifts, and experience in implementing discipleship pathways. It's an exciting time to be part of Grace Christian Fellowship (GCF).

Lead Pastor, Dan Nichols, joined GCF four years ago, and with a solid foundation to build upon, he provides clarity, passion and tremendous energy to the staff team and congregation. Pastor Dan is intentionally connected to pastors and church leaders across the region - he is the President and Founder of the Northeast Collaborative - all of whom are passionate about advancing the gospel and raising up disciples who make disciples. To say there is momentum among this team is an understatement. God is doing something special in this region, and specifically among this GCF community. This congregation has a tremendous rich history, but they are taking new ground as they prepare to launch their first campus in church history in nearby Dryden, NY.

Disciple-making is at the heart of GCF’s growth numerically and as Christ-followers. This

Executive Pastor of Ministries will be one who bleeds authenticity and takes time for people, and at the same time, understands how to trellis under the ever-expanding vine of ministry.

The right Executive Pastor of Ministries for GCF will be an experienced disciple-maker who understands how to build supporting structures. Relationships will be paramount and there will always be time for people. This will be a person who lives out what they ask of and expect from others. They are mature and approachable in nature. GCF has adopted a creed that is painted on their walls and it rings out constantly in conversations with their people. This pastor will deeply resonate with this creed:

Northeast, and the Nations as teammates who know God’s Kingdom has no turf wars. We define
