Senior pastor

Shores Baptist Worship Center is looking for a part-time pastor who is spirit -filled with God’s passion for souls. A man who exemplifies the characteristics as stated in 1^st Timothy 3 and Titus 1. He should be a man of good repute, trustworthy and preach the word of God without compromise and acts as an overseer to care for the church and its community. A man who will step up and lead the congregation of the church and know that this is their calling that God as for them.  

As a body of believers that is biblically guided, divinely inspired, and Christ-directed in ordering our steps, represents the core of the Church’s culture. Additionally, the church community cares deeply about the wider community in its mandate to receive the gospel; however, the Church is equally engaged in responding to the economic and social needs of citizens within proximity to the church. Regarding the members, we take pride in recognizing the voices and feed-back of everyone, thus fostering an atmosphere of inclusiveness, while acknowledging the ultimate leadership of our pastor.

What  you will be doing:

Teaching and preaching to the main congregation. Overseeing the spiritual health of the church. Overseeing all areas of ministry. Providing pastoral care to those in need. Engaging in and promoting community within the church.
