Oaks Church Brooklyn was planted 20 years ago in Williamsburg, and we are excited to begin the search for our fourth lead pastor. We are a non-denominational, Jesus-centered, elder-led community at the intersection of the charismatic and contemplative. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and are deeply rooted in the Scriptures of God. We believe God is calling this specific church to be a family grounded in prayer, presence, and holiness.
We currently gather as a single, weekly service in a full-time leased venue with a seating capacity of approximately 250. We average 170 attendees each week. About 166 individuals are actively engaged in a Neighborhood Group, 146 serve on a ministry team or volunteer in our community initiatives, and 80 make up our membership. We continue to grow financially, with 63% of congregational giving coming from recurring monthly gifts. We champion grassroots participation, empowering members to lead initiatives in prayer, the arts, and local service.
