Worship Arts Director/Pastor

Soul Church is a growing church of approximately 350 people with a clear vision to see every soul come to know Jesus. Our vision is not just to see them connected to God’s presence but growing in community alongside other people and fulfilling their purpose by living like Him. 

We are seeking a high-energy, spiritually grounded, and highly reliable Worship Arts Director/Pastor to lead our worship culture, oversee all production environments, give guidance to our creative teams and build volunteer teams that execute the church’s vision with excellence, humility, and care. This role is both pastoral and creative, requiring strong leadership, musical talent, technical understanding, and a heart for developing people.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Worship Leadership

• Provide vision, leadership, and direction for all worship services and environments
• Lead worship regularly with excellence, authenticity, and spiritual authority
• Recruit, develop, and disciple worship leaders, musicians, and vocalists
• Plan worship sets that align with teaching collections and church vision
• Foster a worship culture that is passionate, Spirit-led, and welcoming
• Ensure worship environments are engaging and help people encounter the power of God

Production Leadership

• Oversee audio, video, lighting, livestream, and staging
• Ensure technical excellence for services and events
• Build and train volunteer production teams
• Develop systems for consistency and scalability
• Collaborate to improve production quality as the church grows

Creative Leadership

• Oversee and build social media, photography and videography teams

Volunteer Team Development

• Recruit, train, schedule, and disciple volunteers
• Develop leaders who lead teams
• Create a healthy culture of accountability and encouragement
• Identify and develop future leaders

Vision & Collaboration

• Execute the Church’s vision with excellence
• Collaborate with teams and leaders to execute with unity
• Contribute to special gatherings and big days
• Help scale systems for future growth

Pastoral Care & Leadership

• Pastor volunteers through care, prayer, and presence
• Model spiritual health and humility
• Uphold the church’s mission, vision, and values

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Committed follower of Jesus
• Experience leading worship in a large or growing church
• Experience developing leaders and building teams
• Strong musical ability (vocals required)
• Working knowledge of church production systems•
• Proven volunteer team leadership
• High energy, dependable, and emotionally intelligent
• High professional workplace IQ & work ethic
