Who We Are

Post Road Christian Church is a growing, established, mission-driven congregation on the east side of Indianapolis. Our vision is simple: Connecting people to Jesus. We believe God is writing a remarkable story in our community — through life change, baptisms, outreach, and neighbors encountering Jesus for the first time. We’re looking for someone to help us tell that story.

The Opportunity

At the heart of this role is a storyteller — someone who sees what God is doing at PRCC and finds the words, images, and media to share it with the world. The Communications Minister shapes how our church presents itself to our congregation and community across every channel: social media, email, print, web, and in-service media.

This is not a behind-the-scenes role. It is a ministry. Every graphic designed, every email sent, and every story captured is an invitation for someone to take their next step toward Jesus. We’re looking for someone who feels the weight of that and sees it as a privilege.

What You’ll Do

Tell the stories of what God is doing at PRCC — through social media, the Annual Report, testimonies, and more

Create graphics and visual content for all ministry areas, events, and Sunday services

Write, design, and distribute the weekly e-news and manage our social media presence

Maintain and update the PRCC website, keeping it current and welcoming

Coordinate media support for Sunday services including slides, and baptism video editing

Design and produce the Annual Report each fall — one of the most significant storytelling moments of the year

Serve every ministry team at PRCC with creative and communications support

Who You Are

A follower of Jesus with a genuine love for the local church

A natural storyteller — someone who instinctively sees the narrative in what God is doing

Creatively gifted with an eye for design, photography, and visual communication

Proficient in Canva; experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Affinity a strong plus

Comfortable managing a website, email marketing platform, and social media channels

Highly organized, self-directed, and able to meet deadlines independently

A team player with a servant heart toward staff and congregation
