Director of Children's Ministries
Location: Headland, Alabama
Position: Part-Time (20–25 Hours Per Week)
Salary: $25,000–$30,000 annually
Reports To: Senior Pastor

Headland Methodist Church exists to help people Know Jesus, Grow in Faith, and Go Make Disciples. We believe children are not simply the future of the Church—they are an essential part of the Church today.
We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, delights in children, and sees children's ministry as more than childcare. We are searching for a disciple-maker who will partner with families, build meaningful relationships, recruit volunteers, and create environments where children experience the love of Christ and begin a lifelong journey of following Him.

Position Summary
The Director of Children's Ministries will lead the discipleship of children from birth through fifth grade by creating safe, engaging, Christ-centered environments where children grow in their faith and families are equipped to continue that discipleship at home.
The successful candidate will build relationships with children and parents, invest in volunteers, oversee weekly ministry environments, and help children take intentional next steps in following Jesus Christ.
