Worship Minister

Cadiz Christian Church is a growing, multigenerational independent Christian Church in Henry County, just outside New Castle, Indiana. As we continue to help people grow deep in Christ and reach wide into our community, we are seeking a Worship Minister to join our ministry team and help lead our church in Christ-centered worship.

Our Worship Style

A blended mix of contemporary worship songs and some traditional hymns, currently led with piano, guitar, and drums.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead weekly worship services in collaboration with the Senior Minister.

• Recruit, encourage, and disciple musicians, vocalists, and production volunteers.

• Oversee sound, video, and livestream teams.

• Coordinate music for special services and church events.

• Help cultivate a culture of authentic, biblical worship.

Qualifications

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for ministry.

• A passion for leading congregational worship.

• Experience leading and developing volunteer teams.

• Agreement with the mission and beliefs of Cadiz Christian Church.

• Formal ministry or music training is appreciated but not required.

Position

This is currently a part-time position. We are open to expanding this role into a full-time ministry position for the right candidate, based on ministry experience, gifting, and the needs of the church.
