Student Ministry Director

Student Ministry Director (Part-Time)

South Sub Church | Littleton, Colorado

Salary: $25,000–$35,000 annually

Schedule: Part-Time | Hybrid/Flexible

Growth Opportunity: Potential to develop into a full-time position

About the Position

South Sub Church is looking for a passionate, relational, and energetic Student Ministry Director who loves Jesus and has a heart for helping the next generation grow in their faith.

We are seeking someone who is excited to build relationships, invest in students and families, and create a welcoming environment where young people can discover what it means to follow Jesus.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their ministry journey, including a recent college or seminary graduate, who wants to gain hands-on ministry experience while growing as a leader.

As our student ministry grows, there is potential for this position to develop into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with middle and high school students and their families.
• Plan and lead weekly student ministry gatherings, activities, and occasional special events.
• Recruit, equip, and encourage volunteers who are passionate about investing in students.
• Create an engaging, welcoming environment where students feel connected and encouraged to invite their friends.
• Help students grow in their relationship with Jesus through biblical teaching, discipleship, and authentic community.
• Partner with parents and families to support the spiritual development of students.
• Participate in the broader life and ministry of South Sub Church as scheduling allows.

What We’re Looking For

• A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for student ministry.
• Someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with teenagers and their families.
• Strong communication, relational, and organizational skills.
• A dependable, self-motivated leader who is willing to learn and grow.
• Previous experience in student ministry is preferred but not required.
• Recent college or seminary graduates with ministry, internship, or volunteer leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

Opportunities for Growth

At South Sub Church, we believe in investing in emerging ministry leaders. This position offers:

• Preaching Opportunities: Opportunities to preach and teach throughout the year.
• Mentorship: Hands-on leadership development and encouragement from experienced ministry staff.
• Ministry Experience: Opportunities to learn and serve across different areas of church leadership.
• Flexible Schedule: A part-time position with hybrid flexibility.
• Future Growth: Potential to transition into a full-time ministry position as the ministry grows.
