Reports to: English Pastor
Purpose Statement: We exist to help create an atmosphere where as many people as possible can meet with and encounter Jesus
• Shepherd and pastor the Campus worship and production team
• Disciple and lead people in the band to grow in their love for Jesus.
• Pastor and care for team
• Teach how to lead in tandem with the Holy Spirit's promptings
• Disciple them in their theology of worship
• Help the team grow in their craft
• Oversee worship elements for weekend services
• Once weekly check in
• Recruit worship leaders and volunteers
• Oversee and Recruit Band
• Develop future musicians and song leaders.
• Create chord charts and distribute to band via Planning Center
• Schedule band members one month out at least
• Communicate details for services weekly to team members.
• Double check chord chart accuracy and recording arrangement/ key before sending to the band first.
• Create/Complete sets at least two weeks out.
• Notate who is leading the song for lighting.
• Communicate weekly details for each service in a timely manner
• Adapt set to key needs of the campus team
• ProPresenter Responsibilities
• Create prompter playlists per week with correct keyed songs (move to Nashville # system)
• Equipment Responsibilities
• Change drum heads as needed
• Replace all Batteries before Saturday
• Lead worship on campus weekly
• Attend weekly Campus team meetings and be a contributing voice to the team
Time Investment: 25-30 hours per week
Commitment: On-Going Employment
Prerequisites:
• Completed Employment application
• High degree of social/emotional intelligence
• Able to lead musical worship with a high degree of excellence
• Spiritually
• Musically
• Able to engage a crowd and lead them.
• Able to schedule a team on Planning Center
• Able to lead a team of musicians to execute a worship service
• Able to receive constructive feedback/ display an attitude of teachability and humility
• Must be currently attending seminary, willing to immediately begin attending, or have completed a seminary degree.
• Complete three staff interviews
