Minister of Youth and Families

First Baptist Church of DeRidder, Louisiana is seeking a passionate Minister of Youth and Families to lead a thriving youth group of about 70 students in grades 7–12 toward a deeper relationship with Christ. This role provides vision, leadership, and hands-on guidance for all areas of Youth Ministry, helping teens and their families experience God’s love, grow in faith, and actively live out the gospel. The ideal candidate is relatable, spiritually grounded, administratively strong, and able to engage today’s youth culture with truth and creativity. Responsibilities include teaching, recruiting and equipping volunteers, coordinating programs and events, and offering pastoral care to students and parents.
