Beacon of Christ Church, Cincinnati, Ohio is prayerfully searching for the next Lead Pastor. BCC is a Southern Baptist Congregation that was established in 1966 and has recently gone through an intentional and successful period of Revitalization.
We are located in the fastest growing area of the west side of Cincinnati at 6384 Harrison Avenue near the I-74 and I-275 exchange which situates the church in a setting for regional growth.
BCC is a spiritually healthy congregation of diverse ethnicities and generations with a strong desire to continue reaching people in the community with the gospel. The church has recently remodeled the Children's and Student areas of the building along with other improvements. About 60% of our people are involved in some kind of ministry or serving on a ministry team. Our average attendance is between 45-55 people.
We believe our ideal candidate will be a man with:
· Strong communication skills both on a personal level and in biblical preaching and teaching.
· At least 5 years experience as a Lead/Senior Pastor.
· Able to work with teams of people in an effort to move the church forward.
· Graduate of an accredited Southern Baptist School or Seminary with a minimum of Bachelor's Degree and preferably a Master's of Divinity.
· Proven leadership skills. We would like our next pastor to be able to lead the church from the place of Revitalization to the next levels of growth and discipleship.
· Someone who will connect within the community and who is able to lead and manage other staff members.
