Job Description:
An evangelical Wesleyan Armenian church in Northern Ohio is looking for a Lead Pastor. The church has an average attendance of 175-200 with a part-time Youth Pastor, Children’s Ministries Director, and Administrative Assistant. The church has blended worship with a leaning towards contemporary, using a part-time Worship Leader and a Worship Band. The church has two services on Sunday mornings, a Wednesday night Adult Bible Study, Youth Group for teens, and Awana program for children. Also active small groups, prayer ministry, women’s ministry, men’s prayer breakfasts, fellowship events, and other purposeful ministries and outreaches.
The church has an annual budget of $275,000, and the Pastor’s salary package is commensurate with experience. The church facility is located in the country on a 30+ acre site of land that includes a sanctuary, children’s ministries classes, and an extension building for youth and fellowship. The church property and buildings have minimal debt of approx. $34,000 which could be paid off at any time.
The church has grown for the last several years and desires to continue this pattern. We are progressive in our methodology but conservative in our theology, and are desirous of a pastor who will preach the full gospel with an emphasis on evangelical outreach and holiness lifestyle.
