Position: Children’s Ministry Pastor

Reports to: Executive Pastor

Job Status: Full-time

Job Summary

The Children’s Ministry Pastor provides leadership and vision for Children’s Ministry (Birth through 5th Grade), ensuring a Christ-centered environment where children can grow to be fully committed followers of Jesus Christ. This role aligns the ministry with the overall mission and culture of Christ Community Church.

Key Responsibilities

Cast Vision

●     Provide clear direction for the ministry that aligns with Christ Community’s mission, ensuring it’s communicated and lived out through every environment.

Lead and Inspire

●     Recruit, equip, and encourage a passionate team of volunteers and leaders to serve within all Children's Ministry programs.

Help Kids Grow

●     Design creative, age-appropriate programming for weekend services, midweek gatherings, and special events.

●     Select or create engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and spiritual growth objectives for each age group.

Build and Reach Families

●     Develop outreach opportunities and midweek experiences that help families connect to community and grow in their faith together.

Qualifications & Skills

●     A strong, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

●     A deep love for the church and a passion to see kids grow in their relationship with Jesus.

●     Strong communicator with the ability to connect with children, parents, and team members.

●     Experience in children’s ministry.

●     Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

●     Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership and ministry teams.
