Position Summary: The Production & Communications Director is responsible for the meeting of all technical and media/communications related needs of Grace Family Church (GFC), including coordination of volunteer teams, production of services/events (both live and online), and management and use of necessary systems and tools.

Applicants must have a working knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems, including the following or similar:
· JBL Loudspeakers and DBX Loudspeaker Management
· Shure wireless microphone transmitters and receivers
· PreSonus digital sound mixing consoles
· Aviom personal monitoring systems
· NewTek TriCaster and BlackMagic video switchers
· Canon camcorders and DSLR cameras
· Enlighten digital lighting software
· Conventional, LED, and Intelligent lighting and DMX programming
· Apple and Windows computer systems
· Microsoft Office and certain Adobe products (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects)
· ProPresenter
· Planning Center
· Additional knowledge of networking systems and environments is helpful but not required.

Physical
Applicants must:
· Be able to climb a ladder and safely operate a mechanical lift
· Be able to climb steps multiple times a day
· Have good hearing and eyesight
· Be able to lift at least fifty pounds
Responsibilities
Production
· Collaboration with staff pastors and/or worship leader(s) to determine production needs of services and events
· Setup and/or striking of stages and equipment weekly for services and events (including weddings and funerals)
· Schedule, train, and oversee all volunteer production teams (audio, video, presentation)
· Planning and execution – either directly or through volunteers – of the production elements of all services and events, including sound mixing, lighting scenes, and video production
and livestreaming when applicable
· Lead all volunteer production teams to facilitate a quality Sunday service in-person and online
· Research, design, installation, maintenence, repair, and upgrade of systems and equipment, recommending to church leadership and making purchases as directed
· Manage storage and availability of extra technical equipment around the facility
· Provide basic end-user support for staff workstations and peripherals (computers, printers, etc.)
Communications
· Maintain and oversee various Planning Center platforms and their relation and function to congregants, teams, and visitors (Check-In, Publishing, Giving, Registrations, People,
Services)
· Updating and managing the church website and Church Center app
· Weekly content creation, including the building of Sunday service presentations (worship lyrics and sermon points), weekly video announcements, and editing/uploading sermons to
online sermon library
· Collaborate with partner company on additional content collection and creation, including photographing GFC services/events and management of GFC social media pages and
profiles
· Enforce GFC Brand Guidelines on all digital and printed content
· Provide necessary media or presentation creation, support, and training to other ministries and ministry leaders
· Keep up with latest church communications trends to facilitate streamlined, effective ministry
Expectations
· Faithfully steward resources in which this position is entrusted, including finances and assets
· Serve as a dedicated member of the staff team, assisting with other ministries and projects as needed
· Be present at weekly staff meetings and maintain a consistent presence in the office during operating hours
· Be present at any rehearsals, services and any events (including weddings and funerals) requiring technical support and/or not covered by volunteers (2-3 Sundays off per year are
allotted)

Compensation: Full Time $50-$55K
10 vacation days and 5 personal days yearly
