Worship Leader (Full Time – Salaried with Benefits)

Worship Leader Qualifications
- Thinks creatively, relevantly, and innovatively in regard to worship services
- Ability to inspire authentic worship while keeping God at the center
- Degree in Music preferred, Complementary education/experience in Theology, modern Christian worship, and music production
- Strong and versatile vocal ability
- Proficient accompaniment skills on guitar and/or piano while leading vocally
- Proficiency with Sound mixing, Microsoft Office, Pro Presenter, ProTools or willing and able to quickly learn
Responsibilities
(40 hours):
- Be prompt, prepared and participatory for all ministry appointments and staff meetings
- Be present at and assist with Monday and/or Thursday evening rehearsals corresponding to Sunday leadership
- Be present, lead worship, and/or play an instrument on the worship team for Contemporary Worship weekly
- Be present, lead or participate in Traditional Worship services according to gifts as needed
- Assist Worship Pastor in planning and scheduling weekly services
- Direct and mentor Youth Worship Team in support of Family Ministry Director
- Develop relationships outside structured meetings with worship team members and the congregation
- Support Trinity Lutheran School in Wednesday Chapel services as needed
- Other responsibilities according to the leader’s gifts
