Overview & Responsibilities
The Worship Pastor helps to create a culture of worship, focusing on helping people encounter God. The WP will work in a team-orientated environment assisted by other staff at both Campuses, and by volunteers. This role reports directly to the Lead Pastor.
• Plan and execute weekly rehearsal and worship services in collaboration with other worship pastors and Lead Pastor.
• Be able to effectively use Planning Center Online and Pro Presenter for scheduling, communicating with team members, creating and loading service flows, etc.
• Create a culture where team members feel loved and cared for.
• Lead team members to grow in both heart (love for God) and skill (vocals, instrument, etc).
• Successfully recruit, train, and develop volunteers.
• Attendance at staff meetings, 1:1 meetings with Direct Report, and/orchurch wide leadership gatherings may be required as schedule permits and are included in weekly hours.
