Director of Children's Ministry

Muir's Chapel United Methodist Church in Greensboro, NC is looking for a Director of Children's Ministry. This position can be full time or accommodate part time. Part time will be approximately 15 hours weekly, with Sunday being the only in-person day. Pay $20 an hour. Part- time individual will be responsible for Sunday School, Children's Church and Sunday night lessons. Full time is a more extensive position with a proactive outreach to the community and planning larger church-wide events for the children and community throughout the year. Either provides one with the opportunity to work with a fun, creative staff.

Major responsibilites are to coordinate and organize regular activities for the children birth-5th grade. This includes curriculum choices, recruiting teachers and volunteers, and submitting a budget. The full time position includes Vacation Bible School, Fall Festival and working with a team to provide new opportunities for the children. Requirements include an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, a solid Christian faith and a passion for teaching children.
