Children's Minister

The Catlin Church of Christ Children's Minister will serve as a vital part of the ministry team. Our Children's Minister will oversee and give direction to the children's ministries from nursery through 5th grades.

Typical responsibilities will include:

STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a positive, open, and creative relationship with other staff members

ADMINISTRATION

• Oversee Children's church

• Oversee and implement Sunday morning ministries and classes for K-5th

• Oversee any mid-week activities for K-5th

SHEPHERDING

• Train adult leaders to serve in the children’s ministry

• Help disciple children in their relationship with Jesus and equipping parents to do the same

• Establish connection points and relationships with children and their families within the community at large.

EVENT PLANNING

• Create and plan major events/retreats/etc.

Catlin Church of Christ is located in East Central Illinois just between the cities of Danville and Champaign. CCC believes in the need for ministry to, with, and for the newest generations of children and their families. CCC has a rich history of ministry to children, students, and their families along with a great (and growing) team of volunteers in the Children's Department.

We are on the lookout for someone who would enjoy working with a supportive and encouraging staff. We believe CCC would be a great fit for someone desiring to minister to our community children and their families. We believe that the Children's Ministry opportunity here is an exciting one that would allow great freedom for a Children's Minister to dream and create!
