Some Things to Know About Us:
OGC is a vibrant, growing church committed to a mission of Growing in Christ, Blessing Our City, and Sending to the World. Our church is located in Altamonte Springs, about 20 minutes North of downtown Orlando. Currently we average between 500-600 in attendance, split between two Sunday morning services, and we expect to add a third within the next year. Though we do not have a denominational affiliation, we are deeply connected to many other churches in the Orlando area, and are currently pursuing network affiliation for the purpose of fellowship, mutual accountability, and church planting. More information about our theological beliefs, our bylaws, and our latest Annual Report are available on our website under the “About” tab.
OGC is a congregational, Elder-led, Deacon-supported, and committed to a vision of “Equipping the Saints for the Work of Ministry.” We have a staff team of about 10 (a mix of full-time and part-time), an Elder board of 8, and a Deacon board of 11. We also have the blessing of being connected with a number of national and local para-church organizations (such as Reformed Theological Seminary Orlando, The Gospel Coalition, Cru & Family Life, The Harbor Network, Acts 29, etc) with whom we enjoy mutually supportive, Gospel-focused partnership.
