Worship Leader

First Baptist Church is seeking a part-time (20 hours) leader of music. We need a person who is musical and desires to help others worship Christ during our Sunday service. This position is to ensure excellence in worship with all joy, skill and fellowship in the body.

Requirements:

·       Collaborate with the Pastor to plan songs for weekly worship to align with sermon text or theme.

·       Coordinate music practices for special church events: i.e. Christmas, Easter, etc.

·       Provide input for annual music and sound budget.

·       Proficiency in vocal, piano and or guitar.

·       Able to teach others the fundamentals of music.

·       Works well with others.

·       Leads and empowers others to use God given abilities for God’s glory.

·       Candidate should be willing to make First Baptist Church their home church.

·       Additional tasks and duties as assigned.
