Crossroads Farm is a cooperative, outsourced, rural youth ministry. In regions where many churches have 50 or fewer attendees, Crossroads partners with the local churches to love the rural teen, providing outreach and ministry training opportunities while coming alongside them for more effective growth. Working at Crossroads is more than working with one church or one neighborhood, it’s reaching entire counties. We are looking for highly motivated and skilled youth workers passionate about bringing the Gospel to students in rural America and ready to invest long term.
Role
The Executive Assistant has primary responsibility for clerical and support services within the Crossroads Farm Executive Offices. This position supports the current National President/Director of Operations with executing specific duties essential to the administrative and operational functions of the administration. The Executive Assistant will maintain a professional office environment and serve as principle contact with external constituents from local, state and national agencies, councils, and other organizations.
Duties
· Manage internal and external contacts for ministry; proactively understand who they are, which are priority contacts and keep track of periodic communication needed.
· Coordinate on and off-site meetings to include appropriate room accommodations, catered luncheons and refreshments, and audio visual equipment as required.
· Anticipate the needs of the National Executive Officer(s) (NEOs) and act accordingly.
· Oversee daily operation of the department including greeting and directing guests; maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings and appointments; and screening calls and visitors.
· Coordinate business travel for the National Executive Officer(s) including maintaining and submitting appropriate documentation for reimbursement.
· Maintain accurate electronic and hard copy files.
· Create and prepare presentations and materials for the ministry as needed; perform research and data collection in preparation for reports & presentations.
· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
· Complete special projects as assigned, included but not limited to: Board meetings and retreats, fundraising events, staff retreats etc…
· Maintain executive and National website content and backup for website.
· Provide administrative back up support to the other administrative personnel.
· Provide administrative support to other staff team members.

Required Skills
· Associate’s degree with at least 2 years of administrative support experience OR significant related work experience to the job responsibilities is required.
· Proficient computer skills and excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
· Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for this position.
· Must exhibit professional demeanor, initiative, good judgment, and be able to work well under pressure and independently.
· Must be able to positively anticipate or react to frequently changing priorities, and maintain confidentiality on all matters related to Crossroads Farm.
· Preferred support-level experience in executive offices of ministry
Location
The executive assistant is part of the National Office. The Executive Assistant will work at the National Headquarters in Reading, Michigan.
Salary
All staff at Crossroads Farm raise support through ministry partners to serve as missionaries to rural America. Support goals are set based on experience, geographical multipliers, number of family members, and health benefits. Final salary packages will be determined by the HR department and presented to applicants. This role is offered for both part-time and full-time.

· Retirement Account - An employee may raise additional support for pre-taxed retirement contribution of up to 5% of their approved gross income
· Ministry Expense Account - An employee may raise additional support for job related expenses including but not limited to books, sporting events with students, meals with students, computer, gas/mileage reimbursements, training, conferences, communication with ministry partners, ministry travel expenses, etc.
· Dependents – Employees are allowed to raise an additional stipend pending family size
· Vacation – Each Crossroads Farm employee is allotted a set number of vacation, personal, ministry partner development, and sick days
