Job Description

Focus: Provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the Lead Pastor, ensuring smooth operation of daily tasks and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and discreet, with a heart for ministry and a passion for supporting the church’s mission.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•       Act as the primary point of contact for the Lead Pastor ensuring a welcoming environment.

•       Manage the Lead Pastor’s calendar, coordinating appointments and meetings with staff, supporters, and ministry teams, and keeping relevant parties informed.

•       Oversee the Lead Pastor’s correspondence, including calls and email, for timely responses and clear communication.

•       Align the Lead Pastor’s schedule with the church calendar to maximize ministry effectiveness, providing regular updates on commitments.

•       Collaborate with TBF Ministry leaders for events and meetings involving the Lead Pastor.

•       Assist with sermon preparation by researching topics and sourcing relevant materials.

•       Provide occasional personal assistance as needed.

•       Be available on Sundays to support Lead Pastor and ministry needs.

•       Perform additional duties to support TBF’s overall health and operations.

•       Supportive and complementary to the Lead Pastor’s role.

•       Skilled at designing systems for continuous improvement.

•       Positive attitude, willing to go the extra mile.

•       Able to work effectively with a diverse range of people.

•       Strong interpersonal and communication skills

•      Demonstrates a stable and mature relationship with Christ.

•       Maintain a disciplined life of spiritual growth through worship, Bible reading, prayer and sharing the gospel.

•       Emotional health and balance to handle multiple, fast-paced projects simultaneously.

•       Humility and honesty in all areas of life.

•       Decisions that are consistent with the church mission, marked by faith and trust in God.
