Trinity Fellowship Church in Newaygo, MI, is seeking a dynamic, relational, and mission-minded Campus Pastor to lead a thriving, multi-generational congregation into its next season of growth and impact.

The Campus Pastor will work collaboratively with the Senior Pastor and campus leadership teams to advance the Gospel throughout the region. He will continue to build up and develop the great things happening at Trinity Newaygo, while ensuring alignment under Trinity’s broader mission, values and vision. In other words, the Campus Pastor will provide strategic, goal-oriented leadership that is contextualized to the unique needs of the Newaygo Campus. This includes preparing and preaching sermons live each week, so a passion for preaching the Word faithfully and making it understandable and applicable is essential.
About the Church
Trinity Newaygo currently offers one worship service at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays with the Campus Pastor preaching live each week. Worship is a beautiful blend of contemporary praise songs and refreshed hymns. The 7-acre campus includes a Ministry Center, which includes a 200- seat sanctuary, a warm & welcoming lobby area (known as The Family Room), classrooms, kitchen and offices. The congregation is multi-generational, but exudes a warm, family-friendly feel. Children are welcomed into the worship service with their families before being released to their lessons, and care for the church family at every age and season of life is a high value.

The ideal candidate will be a trusted leader—approachable, transparent, and committed to building genuine relationships within the church and community. He will empower others, listen well, and value people over programs, nurturing each individual's gifts for ministry impact. Personally, this leader will exhibit a disciplined, Christ-centered life marked by purity, humility, and a servant’s heart. He will view ministry as a long-term calling, pursuing growth alongside the church family with a posture of learning and deep relational investment. Rooted in love for God and people, he will lead by example—serving, equipping, and inspiring others to be fully devoted followers of Christ.

Qualifications
Agree with Trinity Fellowship Church’s doctrine and the EFCA’s statement of faith; Meet the biblical qualifications of Elders found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Peter 5:1-4.; Formal biblical education or commensurate experience; Credentialed, or willingness to pursue or transfer credentialing with the EFCA; Seven years of pastoral ministry experience, including significant preaching experience and demonstrated ability to teach, plan, collaborate, delegate, equip, oversee and develop paid staff and unpaid volunteer ministry leaders; Experience with and preference for an expository approach to Bible teaching.
