Director of Family Ministries

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and hearts in their faith journey? Cornerstone Community Church, a welcoming EPC church in Greeley, CO, is seeking a dynamic and creative Director of Family Ministries to lead our family ministries program. You'll play a vital role in shaping the lives of children (birth-5th grade), youth (grades 6-12), and families as they grow in their faith, fostering a strong foundation and a warm, connected community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement creative programs that foster spiritual growth in children and youth

• Build strong relationships with families, youth, children, and volunteers, fostering a sense of belonging

• Hire, supervise, and lead two part-time coordinators (one in Kids Ministry and one in Youth Ministry)

• Empower parents as the primary faith leaders in their children's lives

• Welcome and integrate new and unchurched families into the church community

• Lead exciting family ministry events, fostering engagement and connection

• Recruit, train, and support dedicated volunteers, maximizing their talents

• Collaborate with leadership to create engaging worship experiences and events

• Manage the Family Ministries budget and contribute to church communication channels

Qualifications:

• Deep commitment to the Christian faith and Cornerstone's mission

• Experience in family ministry preferred

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and adaptable environment

• Passion for working with children, youth, and families

• Creativity and a desire to develop engaging programs

Cornerstone Community Church is a beautiful landmark church located blocks north of the University of Northern Colorado. It has a legacy of over 150 years of preaching the gospel and connecting people to the community in Greeley, CO. In the early 2000s, Cornerstone joined the Evangelical Presbyterian Churches (EPC) denomination.
