Who We Are:

Here’s a snapshot of what we are currently working toward. We hope and pray that by 2030, this can be said of New Heights Bentonville:

  • We are passionate disciples united by our absolute love for Jesus Christ. It’s all about Him and all for His glory.
  • We are a generous and welcoming church where every person is seen, known, and grows in their love for God. Everyone has a place here.
  • We are hungry for God’s Word and desperate for the Holy Spirit’s empowerment. The story of our church is unexplainable apart from the presence of God.
  • We equip everyone to live a life of faith, from the curious seeker to the committed disciple. Hundreds of people have come to faith, and by God's grace, we are making disciples across every stage of life.
  • We are a safe place to be a person in process; we care for the hurting and are known for our tangible love.
  • Marriages are thriving, kids are trusting in Jesus, and families with special needs are finding rest. Spiritual community is robust and life-giving. Everyone is connected to a group where they are growing in the Gospel.
  • We send disciples to their neighborhoods and to the nations to share the good news of Jesus. We are more than talk. We're risk-takers for the Kingdom. We have planted churches, started a prayer room, and launched businesses and non-profits to meet real needs in our city.

Core Beliefs:

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the final authority in life and doctrine.
  • We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • We believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus
  • We believe in the substitutionary and atoning death of Jesus
  • We believe in salvation by grace alone through faith in Jesus
  • We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus, his sinless life, his miracles, his visible and bodily resurrection, his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His visible and bodily return.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who indwells believers and empowers them to live
  • a godly life
  • We believe the Church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit to make disciples of Jesus.
  • We believe in the priesthood of all believers (every member ministry).

Core Values:

  1. Word and Spirit - God’s Word is the standard by which we measure all truth. God has revealed Himself through His Word. It is our final authority in life and doctrine. The Holy Spirit empowers, comforts, guides, and points us to Jesus. We seek His presence in all things.
  2. Passionate Worship - Intimate and passionate worship is our way to glorify God, who is worthy of it all. Our vertical love for God fuels mission and ministry.
  3. Transforming Community - Robust community is the vehicle for transformation. Through authentic, transparent, Christ-honoring relationships, we care for one another and challenge each other to Abide in Christ.
  4. Kingdom Mission - God has made us for a purpose. We live out the great commission and the great commandment, sharing our faith, making disciples, and serving others.
  5. Generous and Welcoming - We commit to living lives marked by radical generosity, giving freely of our time, talents, and treasures. Our generosity reflects the abundant grace we have received in Christ, and we intentionally create space for others to experience His love through our open hands and hearts. We strive to be a community where giving is a joyful act of worship, and every person is welcomed as family.
