Lead Pastor

Job Overview

We are looking for a full-time Lead Pastor to shepherd our body through faithful preaching of God’s Word and casting vision for the future. This Pastor would develop Spirit-led strategies and systems to encourage the body to accomplish that vision. This position will include preaching, vision casting, and leadership development. You will lead through the transition of the current Senior Pastor who will partner with you as the Discipleship Pastor.

Job Responsibilities

• Preaches God’s Word and ensures the integrity of the pulpit
• Shares the pulpit with other faithful leaders 
• Creates and implements the vision, mission, and goals of BCC
• Conducts pastoral counseling and shares other pastoral duties as needed
• Creates and implements ministry structures
• Inspires congregation to live out their faith through active participation in our vision and mission
• Participates in the life of BCC beyond specific areas of responsibility
• Reports directly to the elder board

Education and Experience: Has earned or is working toward an MDiv, ThM, DMin, or MA. Has 3-5+ years of experience including leadership of staff and volunteers.
