We are looking for a visionary leader to develop our children’s ministry, KidsLife. This person should be passionate about seeing children grow in their faith as they discover who God has created them to be.
Responsibilities
· Oversee the development of Life’s children’s ministry, KidsLife, (Birth-5th grade) through visionary leadership, ongoing training opportunities for volunteers while providing fun and engaging opportunities to invite those not-yet connected to Jesus.
· Provide oversight to the Sunday morning children’s ministry program, opportunities for kids to participate in main service at key times in the year, oversee Vacation Bible Camp and other activities that fit within the vision of KidsLife.
· Encourage and support our amazing volunteers in KidsLife (teachers, support teams, tech, nursery, etc) through training and development opportunities.
· Be passionate about training up our children in the Word of God and encourage parents to engage in the discipleship of their children.
· Build and maintain relationships with local children's ministers and children's ministry networks to foster new ideas and ways to serve our community
· Administrate the systems necessary for policies, procedures, check-in, follow-up, safety and ongoing development of teams.
Qualifications
· Experience working in children’s ministry or Bachelor’s degree in children’s ministry, teaching or related field helpful but not necessary.
· Strong commitment to personal spiritual growth and development
· Self-motivated, team builder, creative
· Able to recruit and lead volunteers in KidsLife.
· Committed follower of Jesus
