Executive Pastor

As the Executive Pastor at CyLife Church in Cypress, Texas, you’ll join in their mission of making and sending disciples who love and live like Jesus. As the church continues its trajectory of rapid growth (+800 adults in 2023), you’ll be the ministry strategist and operational leader to support the current and future needs of the church. This will include staff development, ministry coaching, strategic planning, and operations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Developing and leading the ministry strategy of CyLife
• Leading the executive team and ensuring a healthy and vibrant staff culture
• Overseeing Financial, HR, and Facility based operations
• Implementing the church’s core values, especially that of discipleship, into all ministry functions
• Managing the church’s capital campaign and expansion project

THE AREA:

Cypress, TX is a rapidly growing suburb in the NW Houston metro. Houston is the most diverse city in the US, and Cypress and CyLife Church are a clear reflection of that. The population of Cypress is over 201,000 and will grow extensively over the next 5 years. The Cy-Fair school district is the 3rd largest in the state and is home to some of the highest performing schools in Texas, both academically and athletically.
