ABOUT THE MULTISITE CAMPUS PASTOR
This role oversees all the ministries of the Naperville campus. The Naperville Campus Pastor must be a strong leader and ministry catalyst having the ability to get things done as well as inspiring and equipping staff and volunteers to thrive in their roles. This pastoral role will be a recognized face to the Naperville congregation and will teach at weekend services 8-12 times per year.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ministries at the Naperville location.
- Optimize and mobilize the Naperville staff and volunteers to be focused, faithful, fulfilled, and fruitful.
- Be a visible presence at the weekend services and ministry events. This includes the upfront hosting of services, lobby presence, proactive pastoral care and connecting with attenders.
- Drive the next steps process helping people move from new guests to becoming partners/members while actively tracking this process.
- Increase engagement in groups and serving. This includes developing leaders for groups and ministries by providing care, connection, and coaching for leaders and creating a pipeline of apprentices and leaders.
- Set quarterly goals and lead staff to accomplish those goals.
- Serve on the Campus Pastor team.
- Oversee the Champions (ministry point leaders) over all locations, including Highpoint Kids, Highpoint Students, and Adult Ministries.
- Preach on weekends 8-12 times per year.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Pastor.
Professional Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of ministry leadership experience
- Experience in multi-site church context preferred
