Position Summary:

This supported position is responsible for overseeing MFI’s Information Technology technical support and service operations

Essential Functions:

1. Analyzes and recommends on software and hardware needs for MFI

2. Oversees and facilitates the installation and maintenance of IT systems and hardware

3. Identifies and recommends upgrades and changes to MFI’s systems to ensure efficient operations

4. Ensures effective and helpful support is provided for staff members

5. Ensures appropriate protocols are in place to minimize disruption to our operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss

6. Oversees the security of MFI’s systems and networks

7. Conducts audits and/or investigations as needed

8. Performs other duties as needed or requested

Required Skills and Abilities:

1. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

2. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

4. Thorough understanding of technology, software and hardware

5. Proficient with MS Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

2. At least three to five (3-5) years of related experience, OR

3. An equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation:

1. Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk working on a computer

2. Ability to see and hear clearly

3. Ability to bend, stoop and kneel

4. Must be able to routinely lift 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
