DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP & MEDIA ARTS KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORSHIP PLANNING & LEADERSHIP:
• COLLABORATE WITH THE PASTOR TO PLAN AND COORDINATE WEEKLY WORSHIP SERVICES, ENSURING COHESIVE INTEGRATION OF MUSIC, VISUAL ARTS, AND MEDIA ELEMENTS
• SELECT AND PREPARE DIVERSE MUSICAL REPERTOIRE, INCLUDING HYMNS, CONTEMPORARY SONGS, AND SPECIAL MUSIC, THAT ALIGNS WITH WORSHIP THEMES AND THEOLOGICAL MESSAGES
• LEAD AND CONDUCT THE CHURCH CHOIR, INCLUDING WEEKLY REHEARSALS AND SUNDAY PERFORMANCES • ORGANIZE AND DIRECT SPECIAL MUSIC FOR HOLIDAY SERVICES AND EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE CHURCH YEAR
MEDIA ARTS INTEGRATION:
• OVERSEE THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF VISUAL ARTS AND MEDIA ELEMENTS IN WORSHIP SERVICES • MANAGE THE CHURCH'S AUDIO-VISUAL TECHNOLOGY, INCLUDING SOUND SYSTEMS, PROJECTION, AND LIVESTREAMING EQUIPMENT
• CREATE AND CURATE VISUAL CONTENT FOR WORSHIP SERVICES, SUCH AS SLIDES, VIDEOS, AND OTHER DIGITAL MEDIA USING PRO-PRESENTER AND PLANNING CENTER SERVICES
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT:
• ESTABLISH AND PURSUE GOALS FOR THE MUSIC AND MEDIA ARTS MINISTRIES
• DEVELOP AND LEAD ADDITIONAL MUSIC GROUPS, SUCH AS PRAISE TEAM, HANDBELL CHOIRS, CHILDREN'S CHOIRS, OR INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLES
• ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION FROM ALL AGE GROUPS, WITH A FOCUS ON YOUTH AND CHILDREN'S INVOLVEMENT IN MUSIC AND MEDIA ARTS
ADMINISTRATION AND LEADERSHIP:
• MANAGE THE MUSIC AND MEDIA ARTS MINISTRY BUDGET
• MAINTAIN THE MUSIC LIBRARY, CHURCH INSTRUMENTS, AND MEDIA EQUIPMENT
• DIRECT AND SUPERVISE THE SELECTION AND PURCHASE OF MUSIC FOR ALL CHOIRS, GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS • MANAGE PART-TIME ACCOMPANIST AND/OR GUEST AND CONTRACT MUSICIANS
• SUPERVISE AND MENTOR VOLUNTEER TEAMS IN MUSIC AND MEDIA ARTS MINISTRIES
• ATTEND STAFF MEETINGS AND COLLABORATE WITH OTHER MINISTRY LEADERS
COMMUNICATIONS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:
• ORGANIZE AND CONDUCT PERIODIC LARGE-SCALE MUSICAL EVENTS OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY • DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN CONTENT FOR THE CHURCH WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS • RESPONSIBLE FOR COORDINATING, AND/OR DESIGNING COMMUNICATION CONTENT, MATERIALS, WEEKLY ENEWS, ANNOUNCEMENTS, SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT AND OTHER DIGITAL AND PRINTED MATERIALS

• STRONG VOCAL AND INSTRUMENTAL SKILLS, PARTICULARLY IN PIANO OR GUITAR
• PROFICIENCY IN VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES, INCLUDING TRADITIONAL HYMNS, CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP, AND GLOBAL MUSIC
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• EXPERTISE IN AUDIO-VISUAL TECHNOLOGY AND DIGITAL MEDIA PRODUCTION
• PROFICIENCY IN RELEVANT SOFTWARE FOR MUSIC NOTATION, AUDIO EDITING, AND VISUAL CONTENT CREATION, ESPECIALLY GOOGLE SUITE, PRO-PRESENTER, AND PLANNING CENTER
• PROFICIENCY IN GRAPHIC DESIGN IS PREFERRED

HOURS: 40 hours per week including Sunday and Christian Holidays (flexible schedule)
SALARY: $60,000.00 - $62,000.00
