Online Community Director

Job Description

Renovation Church in Hampstead, NC, just outside Wilmington, is in search of their first Online Community Director to continue their mission of giving every man, woman and child repeated opportunities to see, hear and respond to the good news of Jesus. This position is responsible for all areas of the online community at the church including teams, gatherings, systems, equipment, rehearsals and budget. Renovation Church is a portable church with a clear focus on reaching their community with the love of Jesus.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee online community team (host, production, audio, video, cameras)
• Facilitate and host online services
• Direct, facilitate, and edit online content
• Recruit, develop and build the online community team
• Disciple, train, equip, and empower teams regularly
• Works with the Worship Pastor to strengthen and advance the online strategy of Renovation Church
• Creates systems to help teams grow and develop
• Sets up and tears down equipment each weekend
• Train teams, to care for, use, and maintain all online production gear
• Edit, render, finalize audio and video for web, social media, and archiving
• Oversee the data collection and management of the online community
• Develop strategies to reach and engage other communities
• Study data trends of online church to base future projections of goals and budget needs

Skills you’ll need to have:

• Preferable ministry experience including experience in production, leading volunteer teams
• Preferable knowledge of Ableton, Logic, MainStage, Multi-tracks and Other Music Software
• Able to utilize video editing software such as Final Cut, or Adobe Suite to achieve online community and Renovation goals
• Has an ability to multitask with a high attention to detail
• Good decision making skills
• Has a willing spirit to help support each ministry within Renovation Church to the best of their ability
