Full-Time Position
Reports to: Creative Director
Position Summary: The Worship and Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting the church's worship experience by coordinating music teams, managing production systems, and ensuring seamless execution of services and events. This role serves as a key liaison between the Creative Director and volunteer teams while maintaining technical systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Worship Team Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate musicians, vocalists, and choir members for weekly services and special events
- Maintain music libraries and resources
- Facilitate music rehearsals and provide administrative support to worship leaders
- Recruit, train, and develop Worship serve team members
- Assist in planning worship sets in collaboration with the Creative Director, Lead worship Pastor and Executive Pastor
Production Management:
- Oversee sound, lighting, and multimedia systems for all services and events
- Coordinate production volunteers including audio engineers, lighting technicians, and visual media operators
- Ensure all production equipment is maintained, updated, and functioning properly
- Create and manage production schedules, run-sheets, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot technical issues during services and events
Administrative Duties:
- Manage worship and production budgets in coordination with the Creative Director
- Maintain inventory of equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Process music licensing and copyright requirements
- Coordinate equipment purchases and maintenance schedules
- Document systems and create standard operating procedures
Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and schedule production and worship team members
- Create and implement volunteer development pathways
- Build community among team members through regular communication and team events
- Provide feedback and encouragement to team members
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proficient in music theory and performance
- Experience with sound, lighting, and visual production systems
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Team leadership experience
- Proficiency with music planning software and production technology
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of audio mixing consoles, lighting systems, and video production equipment
- Familiarity with ProPresenter, Planning Center, or similar worship planning software
- Basic understanding of live streaming technologies
- Experience with digital audio workstations (Ableton, ProTools, etc.)
Education/Experience:
- 2+ years experience in worship music and/or technical production
- Previous experience in church ministry or similar environment
