Graphic Designer/Videographer

PURPOSE:
The Graphic Designer/Videographer brings the Alive Church brand to life visually and through video storytelling. This role combines creativity and technical skill to design compelling graphics and produce high-quality video content that supports ministry initiatives, enhances the worship experience, and amplifies Alive Church’s vision across all platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 1: Design & Video Execution
DUTY STATEMENT 1:
Create engaging and high-quality graphics for weekend services, digital platforms, social media, events, print, and promotional materials in alignment with the Alive Church brand.
DUTY STATEMENT 2:
Film and edit video content that communicates stories, teachings, promotional messages, and event recaps with excellence and emotional impact.
DUTY STATEMENT 3:
Collaborate with ministries and staff to deliver creative assets on time and in line with project goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 2: Visual Branding
DUTY STATEMENT 1:
Maintain consistent visual identity across all content, aligning with Alive Church’s branding guidelines and standards.
DUTY STATEMENT 2:
Design assets that are innovative, modern, and true to the heart and mission of the church.
DUTY STATEMENT 3:
Update and improve recurring templates, lower thirds, motion graphics, and service elements to keep the brand fresh.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 3: Content Management & Systems
DUTY STATEMENT 1:
Organize and archive all design and video files for efficient access and reusability.
DUTY STATEMENT 2:
Manage and keep inventory of gear, software, and tools needed for design and video editing, ensuring everything is in working order.
DUTY STATEMENT 3:
Assist in developing streamlined creative workflows for team collaboration and project delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 4: Creative Growth & Team Contribution
DUTY STATEMENT 1:
Stay up to date with design trends, editing techniques, and church media innovations.
DUTY STATEMENT 2:
Contribute ideas in creative meetings and brainstorm sessions for upcoming sermon series, campaigns, and events.
DUTY STATEMENT 3:
Support and help lead the creative volunteer team by providing clear communication, sharing best practices, and leading small production tasks.
Additional Expectations
· Department Budget: Assist in stewarding the creative budget when needed (e.g., for stock footage, fonts, or software purchases).
· Multisite Awareness: Be mindful of how graphics and videos translate across multiple campuses, dimensions, and formats.
Important Information
Direct Report: Creative Director
Location: Florida Mall Campus
Hours: (FT) 9am–5pm M, T, W, Th, 8am–3pm Sunday
Time Off: 10 Days (+1 day off per year)
Staff Meetings: Yes
