Davisville Church is looking to hire a Technology Director who is passionate about leveraging technology to reach people for Jesus. The Technology Director’s responsibility will be to support the ministries and vision of Davisville by overseeing our audio, video, and lighting (AVL) production needs and leading in the area of videography and media creation (MC).

Core Responsibilities:
• Lead, train, schedule, and develop technology volunteer teams
• Assess and increase the abilities of volunteers related to their roles
• Assemble, communicate and confirm tech needs for worship services, ministry gatherings, and other events
• Oversee stage and large equipment set-up on campus
• Program AVL elements for worship services and events as needed
• Lead tech teams during services and events
• Oversee the vision, assessment, and maintenance of AVL/MC equipment throughout the facility
• Ensure that all components and equipment are in proper working order and troubleshoot as needed
• Ensure that the technical needs for events scheduled are in place and fully operational
• Champion and curate Media Creation (Video Production/Livestream/Podcast/etc)
• Pursue and create video content for ministries and staff for use online, in small groups, and worship services
• Attend appropriate events to enhance related skills and keep up to date with related techniques & equipment
Core Attributes, Competencies, and Skills:
Required: A minimum of 3 years of experience working in the AVL technology or videography field. Works well in a team environment. Experience with live production environments and standard equipment. Videography experience, including video editing software competency. Strong organizational and communication skills. High school diploma or higher and the ability to lift 50lbs of equipment and move around as required. Experience with NDI systems is a plus.

Employment Status: Full-Time | Exempt | Sunday through Thursday but with flexibility and other events as required (rehearsals/funerals/etc.)
