Role:
The Business Administrator works in harmony with the Pastoral Team, having a firm grasp on the purpose, values and strategy of the church, to support the operational activities of EFCC.
Primary Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Attend weekly staff meetings.
· Attend weekly Gatherings
· Consistent office hours Monday through Thursday.
· Full operational responsibility, including but not limited to: Develop, manage and oversee the EFCC budget, insurance, finances, communications, IT, and support staff.
· Oversee the Facilities Team.
· Responsible to oversee all church events are planned and carried out with excellence.
· Respond to all staff/volunteer concerns in a timely manner.
· Responsible to work with ministry leaders so that all events are planned, organized and carried out with excellence. Ensuring all events are well thought out, budget approved, event forms are completed risk management is approved, needed equipment reserved, and appropriate staff assigned.
· Agree with the beliefs of EFCC and a willingness to abide by all church and staff policies.
· Provide support for risk management.
· Provide support to the Facilities Team.
· Provide support to the Benevolence Team.
· Provide support to the Executive/Pastoral Team.
· Provide support for other projects assigned by the Pastoral Team.
· Respond to all staff/volunteer concerns in a timely manner.
· Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
· Sit frequently
· Stand frequently, punctuated by opportunity to sit at short, varying intervals
· Walk level surfaces frequently
· Walk stairs on an occasional basis
· Frequent requirement for hand dexterity for computer and telephone usage, as well as writing
· Must be able to read clearly with or without corrective lenses
· Must be able to hear
· Must have strong command of the English language and be able to be clearly understood when speaking
Minimum Job Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
· Comfortable working with and learning new computer skills and software.
· Organized.
· Must have leadership skills with team building and motivation ability.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· An inherent desire to achieve exceptional results.
