Pastor

We are seeking a full-time Pastoral Candidate that has a clear calling from GOD and a dedication to lead his/her people. We desire a Pastoral candidate to lead and nurture our congregation and to carry out the principles of GOD’s Word. In this vital role, you will serve as a spiritual guide, providing encouragement, support, and leadership to individuals and families. Your influence will inspire growth in faith, foster a sense of belonging, and promote the core values of compassion, service, and spiritual development. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through dynamic preaching, compassionate counseling, and community engagement.

Duties

• Deliver inspiring sermons and the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that resonate with diverse audiences 
• Provide counseling and bereavement support to individuals facing life challenges or loss 
• Lead worship services, prayer meetings, Bible studies, and special religious events that foster community spirit 
• Ability to officiate Weddings and Funerals as needed at our church. 
• Cultivate educational programs such as Bible studies and Sunday School. 
• Mentor congregation members of all ages, encouraging personal growth and leadership development 
• Work in collaboration with Deacons, Trustees and Ministry Leaders in a spirit of unity and accountability. 

Requirements

• Demonstrate a clear calling to pastoral ministry, spiritual maturity, doctrinal soundness and a commitment to long term service.
• The ability to connect authentically with diverse groups in and out of the church
• Knowledge of crisis management techniques and conflict resolution strategies 
• Strong writing and public speaking skills for sermon preparation, newsletters, and spiritual correspondence. 
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion, discretion, and emotional intelligence 
• Ability to visit the sick and shut in members of our congregation and minister to them when needed.
