Worship Minister

Role Summary

The Worship Minister leads and develops a worship ministry that aligns with the mission of Fairview Christian Church. This role is responsible for leading corporate worship, building and discipling teams, and cultivating a culture that engages the whole church in worship. We are a church of 450+ and prepare for two services weekly. We currently have a staff of 8. Salary is negotiable. 

Core Responsibilities

• Build, organize, and sustain a scalable worship ministry.
• Recruit, develop, and deploy volunteer teams.
• Plan and execute weekly worship services with consistency and preparation.
• Build teams that reflect the diversity of the body.
• Lead worship that invites participation.
• Invest in the spiritual growth of worship team members.
• Develop people in both character and gifting.
• Familiarity with Planning Center Services
• Comfortable using multitracks, clicks, cues, and related technology

Qualifications

• Degree in worship ministry desired
• Trained in worship ministry 
• 5+ years of worship leading experience
• Experience with leading multi-generational congregations
