Production Director
Part-time - 20 hours/week
Key Characteristics

- Ability to recruit, train, and lead volunteer teams effectively
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible

- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events, as needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency with digital audio consoles (specifically DiGiCo systems), stage routing, wireless systems, and multitrack recording/playback
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly in high-pressure, live environments
- Working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, presentation, and livestream production systems
- Experience operating and troubleshooting professional live audio systems in a worship or live event environment
- Experience scheduling, coordinating, and communicating with volunteers or production team members
- Experience with Planning Center or similar scheduling software
- Experience planning and executing production elements for weekly services and special events
- Ability to lift, move, and install production equipment as needed
Weekly Job Expectations
Sunday
- Front of House - running sound and overseeing all audio and video needs
- Be responsible for troubleshooting if any problems arise
- Attend to the needs of Sunday morning worship teams, pastors, and host
Monday/Tuesday (alternate schedule may be discussed with Worship Directors)
- Reset stage for upcoming Sunday
- Attend weekly staff Bible study and applicable meetings
- Mix multitracks from previous Sunday
- On an as needed basis for purpose of uploading content to social media
- Meet with Worship Directors to:
- Communicate weekly schedule
- Address needs throughout the church
- Plan Sunday morning service etc.
Production Equipment & Facilities
- Maintain Sanctuary as it pertains to all production equipment including lighting, sound, visuals, etc.
- Repair, upgrade, and install production gear on an “as needed” basis
- Maintain, clean, and organize all production areas including production closets, sound booth, studio, etc.
Team Coordination
- Actively recruit and manage production team
- Maintain Planning Center for production personnel on Sunday mornings:
- Schedule and communicate with personnel
Special Services & Events
- Other regularly scheduled events and church-wide events include:
- NOHP – Thursday evening (monthly – 11x/yr)
- Fall Fest
- RS Together (Spring and Fall)
- Christmas Eve Service
- Good Friday Service
- Any worship/creative events where Worship Directors are present (community nights, worship nights, etc.)
Additional Responsibilities
- Attend to other church-wide production tasks (on an “as needed” basis and within allotted weekly hours insofar as they do not deter from regular duties)
Note
- All other church events and/or outside events are NOT required. Production Director will have the option of being contracted or volunteering for any additional events if the Worship Directors or Director of Operations see fit
