Worship Director
LifePoint Church is seeking a part-time Worship Director to join our team. The Worship Director will lead and oversee Sunday morning worship through music while helping cultivate an engaging, Christ-centered worship environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate personal initiative, a high standard of excellence, humility, teachability, and a desire to grow through experience. In collaboration with the Lead Pastor, the Worship Director will recruit, lead, equip, and care for volunteers while helping shape worship gatherings that align with the mission, vision, and culture of LifePoint Church.

- Able to confidently lead worship vocally and with guitar and/or keyboard
- Experience leading worship in a contemporary church setting preferred
What You’ll Do
- Lead Sunday morning worship services as the primary point person for worship arts
- Arrive early to prepare for and lead Sunday morning rehearsals with the worship team
- Recruit, train, schedule, and shepherd volunteer worship team members
- Collaborate with the Media Arts Director to help create cohesive worship gatherings
- Coordinate with the Lead Pastor to plan and implement worship services that align with LifePoint’s mission, vision, and culture
- Develop and oversee the annual worship ministry budget
- Attend weekly staff meetings and participate in the planning and implementation of church ministries and events*
- Meet monthly with the Lead Pastor for encouragement, alignment, and development
- Assist in planning and leading worship for special events outside of Sunday services, based on availability
*Due to the part-time nature of this role, accommodations can be made if attendance at weekly staff meetings is not always possible.
Hours
Approximately 10 hours per week
Up to 6 (unpaid) Sundays off per year.
